On October 3, 2011, Hannah had surgery to correct some deformities caused by her cerebral palsy. The end goal is to allow Hannah to walk 1/2 mile pain free! She will be having surgery on both of her hips, both of her femurs, and her left tibia. She will be in a cast & completely off her feet for 8 weeks. Then, she will undergo extensive physical therapy for 3-4 months. Your purchase goes towards paying for surgery, braces, physical therapy, travel, and lost wages (Mom's). From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you! Update September 2012: Hannah is fully recovered, walking independently, swimming, riding a 3 wheeled bike, and doing all the things a 12 year old should do. We continue to use the funds we get from the swale of this timeline to cover physical therapy and follow-up visits to the surgeon and neurologist.
